Ongoing Games Overview 04-03-26

Greetings, Alchemists!

This time, we’re bringing you a new type of blog: Current Game Status.

In these posts, we’ll discuss the "public" information from the matches currently in progress. For example, the Threat Ranking is information visible to all players.

We say "public" information because there are things that have happened—or are happening—that other players shouldn’t know for the sake of the game... In the world of Master Of Cladia, information is worth more than some lives.

This week, the active matches are: "Nuevitos y tranquilitos", "True Tryhards", and "Machanguito Jam".

  1. True Tryhards

  2. Machanguito Jam

  3. Nuevitos y tranquilitos

  4. Conclusion

1. True Tryhards

"True Tryhards" is the only competitive match, making it the most interesting of them all; therefore, we’ll start there.

This is the current Threat Ranking for the match:

Color legend per player with their threat level at turn 23 of the game.

Since the beginning of the match, the ranking has been dominated by the most feared alchemist in Cladia, Jaxun, and by the returning player Salchiperro. During the first few turns, Salchiperro was well ahead of the rest of the players, until turn 8, when Jaxun overtook him and hasn't let Salchiperro return to the #1 threat spot since. Other players, like Toboteb, have been following them closely in 3rd place, even surpassing Jaxun in some of the early turns.

As of 03/02/26, the game has seen 2 assassinations and 2 assassination attempts, whose victims survived thanks to the "contingency" spell.

The first to die was the rookie Lcapote in an early turn 8, then the young prospect Juanlu died, and the last to die was the new player, Jonay. Although one might guess who the assassins were, we will keep that information "secret" until the game ends.

As for the two assassination attempts, they were Jaxun's attempt on Aarón (me). Jaxun orchestrated a synchronized attack across 2 matches against his former archenemy, Aarón. Yes, you heard that right; on the same day, he attacked the same person in different matches... But this time, luck was on my side; I survived in both games. But the question is: can there be anyone more evil than Jaxun? It’s one thing to kill you in one game, but it’s another to try and take you out of all the matches currently being played... I must fight for the throne of becoming his archenemy once again... He deserves it🔥^🔥.

We will cover the Machanguito combat later, in that game's section, but we can talk about the combat in True Tryhards now. Basically, I survived the attack because one of Jaxun's dragons gained the "lazy" trait after casting many growth spells on it. We can't provide data on the ages, but his two dragons were several ages above my starting one. Of course, the following turn, Jaxun managed to attack me with both dragons and steal the talisman I had picked up in the early turns... Giving rise to a new MoC meme.

The next kill attempt was between Toboteb (Betobot) and Rezo (Marc). Toboteb spent several turns hunting for Rezo to steal his two talismans but couldn't find him... until finally, he managed to spot his tower and... well, you all know what happened.

It looked like the match would be decided between Toboteb, Jaxun, or Salchiperro... but Salchiperro orchestrated such a brutal attack on Toboteb that the latter had to withdraw his dragons to keep them from dying in combat. In other words, Toboteb pulled his dragons out of his tower WITHOUT using premonition so they wouldn't return to defend it. Toboteb simply preferred to preserve his dragons rather than his capital and his talismans.

Right now, Salchiperro holds 3 talismans, Jaxun has 2, and Rezo has 1.

In this match, the talismans scattered across the world took more than 18 turns to be collected... which is strange... Usually, Jaxun rushes to gather the talisman fragments as quickly as possible; this time, it seems he preferred to wipe out his regional neighbors and remain in the shadows, plotting a new evil plan...

Only the gods of Cladia know what could happen in the coming turns of this match... since none of the top players hold a majority of the talismans, and Jaxun and Salchiperro are quite evenly matched in terms of threat.

Let’s see what happens—anything is possible.

2. Machanguito Jam

Now, let’s look at the ranking for Machanguito Jam, the largest match (in terms of human players) currently active, with a total of 13 human players—though only 7 of those 13 remain alive.

Color legend per player with their threat level at turn 32 of the game.

Well, the graph is quite self-explanatory. Jaxun had been leading the ranking throughout the entire match, followed very closely by me (Aarón)—not only in terms of threat but also in the number of talismans... That is, until turn 21, as mentioned in the previous section, when he decided to attack my capital with his entire army. The battle was extremely bloody—a total massacre. Both of us lost practically all of our dragons, but I managed to survive, giving rise to yet another new meme in the world of Cladia...

*No text is needed here—the game notification speaks for itself.

However, the joy and celebration were short-lived, as the young prospect Juanlu was right there to seize the golden opportunity we had handed him. Quite simply, he stole Jaxun's talismans before he could recover, and then marched on my capital to try and take mine. He played it perfectly, arriving before we could get back on our feet, so there was little we could do.

We have the videos of these battles, but naturally, we cannot publish them until the match is over.

Toboteb attempted an all-out attack on Juanlu with his entire dragon army, but he couldn't even make a dent in Juanlu's dominance.

So, as of today, 03/04/2026, Juanlu holds 7 of the 8 talismans, and Rezo has only 1... which means everyone has their sights set on Juanlu’s capital. At the slightest mistake, they will try to snatch the talismans from him, so he cannot move freely to finish off Rezo. Another option he might consider is casting Synthesize, putting the rest of the alchemists on a countdown... although that would cause the 6 remaining players to hunt him down within a 3-turn window. Furthermore, everyone would go all-in, because if Juanlu completes the synthesis, he will complete the talisman and win. Under normal conditions, it would seem like an impossible task, but knowing how the new Regenerate works—being able to heal you between combats—it doesn't seem thaaaaat far-fetched.

Juanlu looks like the clear favorite to take the throne as the winner of "Machanguito Jam," but he cannot get distracted for a single second, as there are 6 other pretenders to that throne waiting for him to slip up.

3. Nuevitos y tranquilitos

"Nuevitos y tranquilitos" is the typical match for people who know how to play well enough not to enter rookie games (where they would cause a massacre) but who still have a lot to learn before playing with the great Alchemists of Cladia.

This match is moving quite slowly because it’s a "paused on weekends" game; additionally, it has several inactive players and a few who have already surrendered.

Despite everything, the Threat Ranking for the match is as follows:

Color legend per player with their threat level at turn 30 of the game.

We can see that the newcomer, Jonay, overtook Grace after turn 14. Grace is a player who started in Master of Cladia a long time ago, but she often lets a lot of time pass between matches, so she’s always catching up with the latest changes.

It seems the match will be decided between Jonay and Grace, although we still have Rumomo hanging around. In this game, the players haven't paid much attention to the talismans; currently, the player with the most is Jonay, with just a single talisman. So, it looks like this match still has a long way to go...

4. Conclusion

And that is all, Alchemists... It truly looks like this week will be quite exciting within Cladia. Let’s see if the upcoming battles are epic enough to please the gods.

See you in Cladia.
