Player Statistics 15-02-26

Greetings, alchemist!

In the last massacre game, "Manusacre(Now Yes)2," Salchiperro achieved an impressive feat: He eliminated 6 players in a single match. Yes, it's true, "massacre" games lend themselves more easily to achieving these kinds of records since no one can escape with a contingency to avoid death.

After such a feat, it made us wonder, who would be at the top of the list of players eliminated in a single game if we made a ranking? The answer that always comes to mind is Jaxun, but Jaxun usually prefers to win with talismans or by apotheosis since eliminating a player with the current contingency is really difficult.

So here we are again with another analysis, but this time, of the players.

This time we will not include the ELO ranking or the K score because the result is the same as in the last analysis since no more games have been played with the competitive checkmark.

Index

  1. Number of eliminations per match
  2. Elimination Percentage per Match
  3. Arch-Enemies and Favorite Victims
  4. Game Duration

1. Number of eliminations per match

Well, I think the ranking will surprise more than one person, without further ado, here is the ranking of total deaths per match:

We can see that the player with the most eliminations in a single match is JuanLu, the rising star, who has an impressive 10 eliminations in a single match that is NOT a massacre; it's truly remarkable.

2. Elimination Percentage per Match

From the previous section, the question might arise: Perhaps the other players didn't get more eliminations simply because there weren't more players in that match? We've slightly modified the query to show the percentage of players eliminated in a single match.

And here's the ranking, ordered by the percentage of players eliminated in a single match and then by the total number of players eliminated, thus favoring results with more players.

Keep in mind that if there are 11 players, since you can't eliminate yourself, 100% is achieved by eliminating 10.

JuanLu appears again as the top player with 100% of the eliminations in the 'MeePWN 3.0 (newbies)' match, achieving a total of 10 eliminations. The fact that it wasn't a massacre makes his achievement doubly impressive.

Now, as always, we'll specify that only matches marked as 'COMPETITIVE' will be considered.

3. Arch-Enemies and Favorite Victims

We can now make the ranking of arch-enemies and favorite victims because there have been some changes... Specifically, Salchiperro has taken away my honor of being Jaxun's arch-enemy (I am Aaron)

Actually, we're tied with 2 kills each, but in case of a tie, the most recent kill is used... Anyway, there will be a hunt to reclaim the throne... 😈

The ranking of "number of players you are arch-enemy" would look like this:

And the ranking of "number of players you are a favorite victim of" is as follows:

Therefore, Cladia's public archenemy remains Jaxun, but Salchiperro is slowly closing the gap.

4. Game Duration

We often talk about the "speed" of the meta in statistical analysis posts, but we always refer to the number of turns a game lasts to analyze how aggressive or slow the meta is... In this case, we're going to ask about real time, not game time. Think about it: How many days does a game of MoC last? How many hours, on average, pass between turns? It won't always be the stated number of hours, as it might compile earlier if all players submit their turns early, or compile later if the game is paused on weekends, or if it's paused or delayed by a turn due to maintenance or an error.

If we only look at the number of turns, more than one person will remember the only "team" game we've ever played... It was endless, 70 turns... In the end, Jaxun and I tied, Aaron and I made a pact to use Apotheosis at the same time, even though we were on different teams, to end Marc and Jonathan's lead in the maximum turtle group...

Next up is "PartidaChillParaMuer" with just one less turn... Finally, rounding out the top three longest games in terms of turns is "Non Stop The Party."

Now, if we rank them by actual game duration, the top spots are naturally occupied by games that are paused on weekends and games that lasted longer than usual.

Finally, as always, we're now going to do the ranking using the average hours per shift, which often DOES NOT coincide with the compilation hours due to weekend breaks, because compilation happens earlier because everyone submits their shift, or because a shift is paused or delayed when there's an error.

In this case, surprisingly, there's the "normal" game which, with only 36 turns, lasted an average of almost 29 hours per turn. The problem with this game is that it had to be paused more than once due to coding errors.

If we reverse the ordering, that is, the lower the number, the better.

The fastest turn-based game on average in MOC was "Apocalypse," one of the first massacres, with an average of one turn every 5 hours—a truly astonishing average. That's almost 5 turns per day!

And that's all for today!

See you in Cladia, alchemists!
